It was back off in a neighborhood with lofts, it has on site parking; and good food. It has two patios for outside dining one larger than the other.The atmosphere was friendly and laid back. The rest rooms needed a little additional attention

Delicious ... had the beer cheese philly with a side of fried brussel sprouts. Quite good!

Great service, an amazing selection of beer, the food is levels above most brewery fare, and the prices are actually pretty good for what you get. That view of the city is amazing btw.

Strictly speaking about the Golden IPA it's not bad. But not a west coast IPA. As for the brewery it's a great venue for any occasion. Food is limited but good. Great views of RVA.It's worth the trip!

The food here is a 4 at best but the beer and view push it up to a 5. They always have at least 10 different beers on tap with a nice variety of styles. The view from the patio of the Richmond skyline and the river is what makes this place special. There is a dog-friendly patio, but it does not have the views and is near a very loud compressor or some sort, so its not the best location to bring a dog.

Great brews and great food with an awesome view. Had their classic Brown Ale and ordered two more rounds. :) was a little disappointed that the bourbon barrel aged brown was out of stock, but the brussels and GREAT burger made up for it. Our server did a great job and was very attentive and friendly.

Let's face it, you're coming here for the beer right? I mean you can't possibly be coming here for the food. Or maybe you love the old man oak wood vibe? Ok so you come here for acceptable beer, edible food, and the old man vibe ... that must be it because I don't understand why else you would choose to come here when you have AMAZING breweries right around the corner. *cough, cough, triple crossing *

Believe it or not, the brussels sprouts appetizer is awesome.

Local beer, great views and good service. I suggest trying a flight of their beer, sitting out on the patio and enjoy the cityscape views with some friends.

Kayla was an awesome server. She let us have samples of delicious beer and her recommendations were spot on. Her Mahi tacos and Brussels sprouts recommendation were excellent!!

I don't usually leave bad reviews but they deserve this one. They just don't care about their customers.I am warning you. Do not go there.We sat there for 15 minutes for our server to come get our orders and no one showed up. No hand soaps in the men's room. Just because you are famous in town doesn't make you a failure in basic restaurant amenities

The food was great and Sky was a great server. He asked what kinda of beer I liked and then recommend a couple of beers that were great. He also had great recommendations on food as well. I will definitely be back when I'm back in town.

Waited forever couldn't even give an order. I had to leave so I don't know the taste of food or beer but the view is really good.

A great place for the amazing view of Richmond; however, I realized when you are sitting outside during fall or early spring the service isn't top notch.

I have to say the nachos served here are so amazing.I order it each time I come.

The oldest microbrewery in Richmond, 1994. SYSCO food, I am pretty sure. Burgers are Blah. the IPA beer is good. Decent view of the river? Bluegrass night is fun. I would go again.

The waitress was pleasant. Service was prompt. Beer was good; food was better. A worthwhile diversion.

The best part of Legend is the patio, with a great view of the Richmond skyline. The inside is dated and pretty unappealing. The beer is pretty standard, and the food is a bit expensive. Unless you’re looking for a nice view, there are plenty of better places around Richmond.

Good food, great beer, nice atmosphere even with masks

I honestly used to love this place when I lived in Manchester a year ago. Since then after building all the new river front condos they decided it would be cool to raise the prices and also change the menu to more boujee items such as "smoked Chilean salmon" and a charcuterie bored. I really was disappointed when they got rid of my favorites such as the fried pickle spares . And the chicken and waffles. I miss the old legends 😭

The service is excellent and the selection of beer is even better. The Brown Ales are my favorite!

Have fun in this place a lot...this is just a perfect place to be with, I have been here for a couple of time and really enjoy the service and food..

Great view of the city skyline from the patio. The Spring Pale Ale was absolutely delicious. Burger was juicy and fries amazing. Friendly group of regulars that can often be found inside. Favorite brewery in RVA.

Menu has something for everyone, I love the German food. Also, love that they are dog friendly . . .

Great beers n good burgers

Great service, classic Richmond Brewery, and they are one of the only places in the area with decent German food. Coming from Chicago I needed a place like this! Also can't beat the outdoor view.

Dang I love this place. What a view and the service is legendary.

Great beer selection and an amazing view of the city. I created my own flight and I had the best of the wurst platter for lunch. Service was good I would definitely recommend checking this place out especially when the weather is nice!

Good beer with body and flavor, not watered down wanna-be beer. The German Burger is a solid choice.

I love this place. The Brussel Sprouts are devine. Staff is attentive. Blue Cheese burgers are outstanding.The outdoor deck has a great breeze.

Really enjoyed their IPAs. Nice and floral. I liked the Golden IPA and their 25th anniversary IIPA. The Berliner’s were fantastic too! Try the original side-by-side w the raspberry and get ready to be impressed. Lindsey was fantastic at making recommendations.

A nice craft beer brewery. They have a nice outdoor space and a patio where dogs are permitted, but also smokers (it is Virginia). Food and beer are both good. A nice place to stop and enjoy. German influenced beer styles.

Good service and great pub food. Wonderful views of the city. Cool spot to take out of town visitors. Big deck patio for summer relaxation with good beer.

A great selection of beers. High quality without fail. After 20+ years of being a customer I still think drinking a brown ale on that deck is an experience that is exceptional.

Last time I went, they were more than happy to specially make food that had no allergens for me. That was AWESOME! No other restaurant or brewery has ever done that. Not only that, everyone was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I can't recommend them more!

Heard good things about the wings. Went on a Friday night about 9:00 after Friday Cheers. Sat outside, nice atmosphere. Not very busy overall which leads into why only 3 stars. As we heard, the wings were awesome along with the onion rings. Now for the not so great. Our waitress was very inattentive, once she took our order and the runner brought our food out and told us he’d bring us extra napkins (which he didn’t), we didn’t see our waitress again until we each had 4 out of 16 wings left. She then appeared, said she’d bring us napkins and didn’t come back for about 15 minutes. Once she brought us those, she left again, no refills were offered until we finished our meals. We then waited for those, the check never was brought to us. We had to get up and go to the hostess stand to get it. Overall food good, bad service.
